Required Skills and Experience *

• 1 years experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, or upgrading structured A/V cabling
• Experience terminating Cat5/Cat6 cabling or audio visual cabling
• Comfortable passing a pre-employment background check and drug test
• Comfortable working both in office and at job sites in the field

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• OSHA 10 or higher

Job Description *

• A customer of Insight Global in the audio visual and entertainment technology space is looking to hire an A/V Cable Technician to join their team. This person will be responsible for installing audio visual equipment across various job sites throughout the LA area. Along with this, there will be times this person will be working in shop in order to prepare cables and equipment for field projects. Key responsibilities include equipment installation, testing, and terminating Cat5/Cat6 cables and audiovisual cabling. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 years of experience in audiovisual cabling and integration, termination experience, and the ability to troubleshoot. This person will be working a standard 40 hours/week, but daily work hours will vary depending on the project taking place. This position is slated as a 6 month contract with extensions or conversion highly likely. A pre-employment drug test and background check is required. Apply today!
