- Familiarity with MCG or Interqual
- Active, unrestricted Utilization Management Certification (CPHM)
Job Description *
Insight Global is looking for a passionate and experienced Care Review Clinician to join their team. This role will be remote working off of PST hours, it is preferred this employee sits within a PST time zone. These openings are designed to cover the inpatient team and acts as a float team. This person will be responsible for: assessing inpatient services for members, cost effectiveness, and compliance with all state and federal regulations; analyze clinical service requests from members or providers against evidence based clinical guidelines; identify benefits, eligibility, and length of stay for treatments; and conduct inpatient reviews to determine financial responsibility for the company and its members. Each nurse will care for 25-30 cases. Across the LA county, they are caring for around 500 patients a day.
