Job Description:
As a Collections Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the collections department and ensuring that our accounts receivable processes are efficient and effective. You will manage a team of collection specialists, develop strategies to minimize overdue accounts, and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of collection laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the collections team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debt.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
