Insight Global is looking for a remote Collections Specialist. This individual will be responsible for:

• Accountable for ensuring prompt responses from assigned customers with an open receivable to both confirm receipt of invoice document and record estimated pay date.
• Responsible for entire cash receipt process from handling to recording to posting and requesting electronic payment from customers.
• Make customer calls as needed to resolve collection disputes.
• Maintain daily aging notes report, recording of appropriate cash receipt transactions and collection comments/notes accordingly. Readying this data for general ledger accountant reporting to upper management for cash available analysis.
• Other business duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of collections experience, specifically within the federal space
• Understanding, knowledge, and reading customer contracts for invoice processing and payment collections
• Understanding and knowledge of various customer websites for invoice submissions
• Experience working with Costpoint, Navision, and Microsoft products.
• Strong communication and ability to connect with team.

Compensation: $20/hr to $27/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
