Required Skills and Experience *
- Thorough understanding of basic insurance concepts and principles
- Minimum 3-5 years of insurance agency experience
- Property and casualty (P&C) license OR willingness to get become licensed upon hire
- Knowledge of an agency management system (Epic preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- Carrier rating experience
- Experience with Epic (Broker Briefcase and Zywave are similar platforms that are transferrable)
- Experience with the portal CSR24
- PL Rating or ACS (Agency Computer Systems)
Job Description *
One of our Insurance clients is hiring for a commercial lines account manager. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing excellent customer service while managing an existing book of Commercial business
- Providing support to producers and clients to pre-qualify, quote, and place Commercial insurance
- Build and maintain highly effective relationships with and between carriers, producers, and other staff
- Continually review client's coverage, suggesting improvements and rounding out the account when possible
- Support producers in the marketing of both new and renewal accounts
- Adhere to agency workflows and procedures for all tasks
Compensation:
$70,000 to $90,000.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
