Insight Global is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near Brighton, CO

Title: Heavy Civil Estimator (Treatment Plant/Underground or Heavy Highway)

Location: Onsite 5 days a week

  • Brighton/Denver, CO

Salary: 90-140K

Duration: PERM

Interview Process: 2 rounds

Start Date: ASAP

SEARCH: (estimator or estimating) and construction and ("HCSS" or "Heavy Bid")

Must Haves:

  • 5 years of construction experience with at least 3 years in estimating
  • Experience with:
  • HCSS/Heavy Bid
  • Alternative Delivery Projects such as: Design-Build, CMGC, CMAR
  • Blue Beam, ON screen Take Off, Agtek
  • Great communication skills

Plusses:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for Senior Heavy Civil Estimators (Treatment Plant/Underground Estimator and Heavy Highway Estimator) for one of our Heavy Civil Construction clients. For the Plant Estimator they are looking for someone with experience with Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pump & Lift Station or Underground. The Heavy Highway Estimator would ideally have experience estimating roadway, underground, precast bridges, and other concrete structures. They are looking for a person that knows DOT specs. The client is not your run of the mill construction company, they are constantly challenging their people to be their best and give them a variety of projects to estimate with real collaboration among coworkers. This person will work closely with the Chief Estimator, Division Manager as well as ownership to ensure that the project is estimated correctly, and the work is performed in an efficient manner. This person must be hard working and detail oriented. They are looking for a person that is capable of thinking outside the box, understands multi staged construction projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide full estimating services on large, complex treatment plant and heavy civil construction projects.
  • Preparation of project estimates to ensure all factors are properly considered, priced, and included in the estimate summary.
  • Site visits and investigations.
  • Conducting constructability studies.
  • Researching of services for methods, costs and construction techniques
