Job Title: Contracts Administrator I
Duration: 12M annual extensions
Location: Tucson, AZ 85714 (WFH Monday and Friday, ONSITE Tuesday through Thursday)
Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (First two months, then Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $20-21
Start Date: 3/17/2025
Interview: ONE AND DONE
Why Open: There is a large volume of backlogged contracts that need to be cleaned up and organized before new systems come into the department
MUST HAVES
- High school diploma or GED required
- Broad-based business knowledge, including financial, billing, project management, research and report preparation.
- Ability to understand and implement legal contractual and FCC requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
- Ability to provide constructive dialogs with customers, contractors, developers, and employees concerning related Policies and Procedures.
NICE TO HAVE
- Knowledge of CC&B and Maximo, Laserfiche, OBIEE preferred
- Familiarity with electric utility services, products, service requirements and construction standards preferred
DAY TO DAY
The Contracts Administrator I will play a crucial role in supporting the telecommunications and design operations through effective contract management and billing processes. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to higher-level Contracts Administrators and T&D Operations leadership, ensuring accurate billing, contract compliance, and efficient contract records management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiates the processing of the necessary billable charges. Furnishes cost estimates provided by appropriate personnel to customers.
- Responsible for the billing of telecommunications attachments to maximize revenue.
- Initiates collection process for unpaid non-utility invoices.
- Utilize the corporate records management application to enter, track and maintain information associated with such contracts.
- Track activity and create reports needed by the T&D Operations to forecast trends, evaluate processes and make prudent business decisions.
- Responsible for reconciling customer advances balances to the general ledger accounts.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate control documentation, in compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Provides support to Contracts Administrator II and III roles, as well as T&D Operations leadership, as assigned.
