One of our prominent accounting clients is looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join their Corporate Tax team in Jacksonville, FL. This individual will take the lead on business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting projects. They will manage client engagements, collaborate with specialists, and leverage our cutting-edge tools and technology.
Responsibilities Include:
-Oversee client service teams and manage tax projects across various industries.
-Innovate in tax planning, consulting, and compliance, drive sales and design tax strategies within budget constraints.
-Foster firm growth and profitability through networking and meeting sales goals.
-Engage in business development and branding activities at industry and community events.
-Manage project fundamentals, including financial metrics and team utilization.
-Develop and mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and oversee complex tax return processes.
-Review and consult on ASC 740 income tax provision engagements.
-Research tax issues and provide consultancy to address client needs.
-Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary contact.
-Understand client operations and objectives to enhance service delivery.
-Commit to ongoing professional development and training.
-Uphold professional standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.
-Flexibility to work on-site, in-office, or remotely, adapting to team needs.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree in accounting
-5 years of tax compliance or consulting experience
-Active CPA
-Proficient in corporate income tax and ASC 740
-Strong skills in US GAAP, tax laws, and regulations
-Knowledgeable in state/local taxes, international tax, and transfer pricing
-Exceptional client service and communication abilities
-Strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
-Willingness to travel as necessary
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Team player with keen analytical skills and attention to detail
