- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data visualization tools
- Ability to understand and examine complex datasets
- Ability to interpret Data quality results and metrics

DAY TO DAY:
An employer is seeking a Data Quality Analyst for a large financial client sitting in Charlotte, NC. This person will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of data used for business operations and decision-making processes and will analyze, monitor, and improve data quality across various systems and data bases. They will be reporting to the Data Quality Center of Excellence Manager, and they will work with business partners to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, errors, and discrepancies. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with business partners to understand data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Understand advantages/disadvantages of various data profiling tools and be able to translate those capabilities to business partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data quality requirements and metrics.
- Provide training and support to end-user’s data quality best practices and tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data quality processes.
