This position is for a Electrical Superintendent in the large-scale industrial space. Looking for candidiates to work the Swing Shift (4PM - 4AM) and strong computer skills.
DAY TO DAY
- Develop execution plans / schedules
- Ensure frequent communication with key project individuals, job site personnel and Project Manager
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities
- Maintain an organized and clean job site
- Drive the project schedule and elevate construction issues to management
- Develop and communicate logistics and other operational plans necessary
- Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the applicable state and OSHA regulations
- Schedule and lead quality control and site safety inspections
- Understand project plans and specifications
- Work with tool vendors as needed to facilitate successful project completion
- Track and receive material deliveries and resolve delivery discrepancies
- Perform daily and weekly site progress reports
- Direct work in field, track changes, etc. both individually and leading or participating in a larger team
- Develop templates and standards for future phases / projects
MUST HAVES
- Related experience (10 years) in general construction or commercial background (residential is not applicable)
- Oil & Gas is acceptable too
- Experience contributing
- Be familiar with NEC70 codes
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Journeymen or Masters license in TX
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications
- Bluebeam
- Good communication
- Ability to multi-task
