Required Skills & Experience

- CompTIA Security , or (ISC)2's Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or an industry approved security certification.

- Monitor, maintain, and administer Microsoft Windows operating systems (Full Office Suit).

- Enterprise application and systems administration, configuration and customization

- Supporting applications in their corresponding cloud-based or on-prem environments

- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual and physical servers, and integrate automation processes

- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues

- Maintain, change, repair, troubleshoot, and configure physical cabling infrastructure

- Strong understanding of physical and mechanical systems, networks, servers (mechanical mindset)

- Manage backup, restore operations, and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

Job Description

Systems Administrator I:

A customer is looking for a System Administrator in Colorado Springs. In this position, you will be front line support for airport tenants, airlines and users and are responsible for maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of the airport's key enterprise applications and systems as well as general application administration and migration. You will work with interdepartmental resources and end users to coordinate and execute the implementation, expansion, configuration, interfacing and maintenance of applications to meet the airport's business needs.

This position requires hands on interaction with physical infrastructure. The candidate will be moving around and interacting with multiple different teams to make physical repairs and support activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of desktop installation and support, cabling, managing and troubleshooting physical servers, and cloud platforms. The candidate will be interacting and supporting 115 end users and over 500 devices.
