Job Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Service Desk Technician to join a growing team. This position has four weeks of training onsite, then is performed fully remote.
This role will be responsible for handling level 1 inbound calls/chats and accurately logging interactions within the company’s incident management system. The ideal candidate will have exceptional time management skills and be able to optimize the amount of time they spend on each issue and their plans for escalation. They will also be conducting appropriate diagnosis/troubleshooting to resolve known conditions. After their three-week training period, they will be responsible for understanding the company’s propriety software and resolving or escalating tickets to proper channels. We are looking for individuals with some level or education of IT support, looking to take the next steps in their career.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Degree, certifications or 6 months of experience in an IT Support position (Service Desk, Desktop, Internships, etc.)
Shift Flexibility - This is a newer team and we will be adding a few individuals to 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Most shifts will require some weekend flexibility.
