Job Title: Jr Civil Engineer

MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• 1-2 years of work experience on civil engineering projects
• Experience with infrastructure (water, storm, sewer) and land development design
• Professional experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of permitting protocols and managing the project journey from design to construction management, inspection, and contract administration
• Teachable spirit and desire to be in the role long term

Plusses:

• Engineer-in-Training (EI/EIT)
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license

Day to day:

The role of the Jr Civil Engineer is to support the senior project engineers and the project management team in preparing schedules and budgets as well as interacting with clients. They will develop and prepare engineering design plans and project specifications, while also assessing potential risks and ensuring industry compliance. Day-to-day 90% of this person's job will be focused on production, 5% on field work, and 5% on managing administrative work such as proposals. They will be exposed to a variety of both private and public projects and have the opportunity to join a growing company!
