Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Marlborough, MA (5 days per week on-site)
Pay Range: $30-40/hour (12 month contract to hire)
Must Haves:
- BS in cell biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or a related field
- Ability to quickly learn new techniques and adapt in a changing environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and on an individual basis
- Results and detail-oriented
Job Description:
One of Insight Global's large biotechnology clients utilizes in vitro and ex vivo approaches, such as biochemical, cell-based, microbial, and tissue-based assays to support the design, development and commercialization of biotechnology products. The successful Laboratory Technician candidate should have appropriate scientific experience to provide the technical support required for supporting in vitro biomedical research studies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting in vitro hemocompatibility testing of blood contacting devices at the bench
- Following experimental protocols and executing on tasks both independently and with guidance from senior team members
- Assisting with preparation of data for reporting and presentation
- Optimizing and troubleshooting technical assays
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records
