Position: Landscape Design Manager

Location: Naperville, Illinois (5 days a week in office at first but flexibility after 3 months)

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

PTC: 1 video interview, 1 in person (first interview can be today June 21st)

Must haves:

• 4 years of experience designing landscape and residential in a design build environment.
• Experience using G Suite & Microsoft
• Experience with Sketch up (similar to Revit and AutoCAD)
• Good communication skills

Job Overview:

The Landscape Design Manager is responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces that will add value to the home. They work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences and needs. Developing design concepts that enhance the beauty, usability, and sustainability of their outdoor living spaces. This role requires a blend of creativity, horticultural knowledge, project management skills and ability to sell designs to high end clients skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to discuss their landscaping needs, preferences, and budget.
• Conduct site analysis, including assessing soil, climate, and existing landscape.
• Develop detailed landscape designs and plans, including sketches, drawings, and digital renderings.
• Select appropriate plants, trees, shrubs, and other materials that align with the design vision and site conditions.
• Create cost estimates and project timelines for landscape projects with assistance from various departments.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as architects, contractors, and city planners, to integrate landscape designs ensuring that the project is feasible.
• Provide maintenance recommendations and guidelines to clients for the long-term care of their landscapes during the design process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and new technologies in landscape design.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.
