Lead Offshore Structural Engineer
Location: Metairie
Duration: 6 mo Contract to Hire
Salary: $75-85/hr (Flexible based on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Must-Haves:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Professional Engineering License (PE) certification
Onshore/Offshore Structural Engineering experience within Oil & Gas
10 years of experience within engineering
Medium/large multi-discipline project management, lead engineer experience
Working knowledge of the design of steel and concrete structures
Working knowledge of structural design codes (AISC, ACI, API, IBC, etc.)
Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
Day-to-Day:
Our client is looking for a Structural Engineer, Senior to join our team. The Structural Engineer, Senior will perform civil/structural engineering assignments associated with designing equipment, components, structures or systems. They must be comfortable with interacting with dedicated engineers as well as clients, performing estimates, and general project management oversight of onshore/offshore related projects.
