1-3 years of experience in a LIS support role
Working knowledge of data innovations software platform (i.e. Altera technology)
Experience maintaining and creating lab documentation, lab testing, monitoring the LIS

Insight Global is looking for a Laboratory Information System Analyst for one of our healthcare clients in New Jersey. This person will be working with the laboratory information systems and needs experience in the following: data innovations, configuring interfaces, upgrading, and monitoring the LIS and maintaining documentation. This person will be testing/troubleshooting and ordering codes for the lab. This person will be working with the Lab Director, Applications Specialists, and the Director of Applications. Day to day will consist of assisting with implementation of LIS, maintain required documentation to conform to College of American Pathology (CAP) standards. Work with applications vendor, instrument vendors and laboratory to interface new instruments to LIS. Also be providing support and troubleshooting for test and production hardware, software, and operations issues as well as provide leadership and guidance to the team on all system/software updates/changes.
