Qualifications:
- Looking for accountant and not processor
- Minimum 2 years payroll experience in Government contracting environment.
- 2 years' of Costpoint experience.
- Detailed oriented with strong organizational and computer skills.
- Working knowledge of accounting concepts and ability to create journal entries and reconciliations.
- Experience with ADP.
- Must work under general supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplished assigned tasks.
Plusses:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field or 5 in accounting with no degree
- GL experience
- Understand reconciliations
Day-to-day:
- The one doing a lot of the data entry into the system: new hires, terms, bonuses, etc.
- More systems related
- Learning the process
- Timesheet lifecycle process to prepare for payroll processing
