Insight Global is Hiring a Project Design Engineer Near Dover, DE
Multiple Civil Design Engineer openings for one of our high end multidisciplinary engineering firms based in the Dover, DE area. They have 3 Level Highway Design Engineer openings. Looking for multiple candidates that has experience using modeling for design and the ability to design from Design to construction plans. They will support the PM over the account and make adjustments. Looking for MicroStation work.
(Salary ranges from $65k - 120k depending on experience)
Highway Design Engineer Requirements:
- Civil engineering or related background
- EIT preferred, with training to obtain PE
- 0-4 years of experience
- Specific Qualifications:
- Education: BSCE from an ABET-accredited program
- Experience: 1-4 years in highway transportation design (internships or relevant coursework considered)
- Communication: Exceptional written and oral skills
Mid Level Design Engineer Requirements:
- • Education: BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, MicroStation, and Inroads or Geopak.
- • Industry Experience: 4 to 10 years of design experience in the highway transportation field.
- • Project Delivery: Experience with project delivery for State Agency Transportation Departments.
Senior Level Design Engineer Requirements:
- Education: BSCE from an ABET-accredited program.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in highway and transportation design.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with teams.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Federal, State, and local permitting regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MicroStation and MS Office suite.
- Other: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Registered Professional Engineer
