Automation Test Engineer

Must Haves:

• 5 years of Java testing experience from planning to execution
• 5 years of Java Programming experience
• 5 years of automation experience using Selenium
• Experience with Postman for testing web services

Plusses:

• Experience with AWS development, Kubernetes
• Data Analysis, load testing experience
• Splunk reporting and dashboard development experience
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

Insight Global is looking for a Automation Test Engineer for a large telecommunications employer in Englewood, CO. This Engineer will be joining an agile development team that focuses on developing advanced advertising software. This Engineer will adhere to the company’s software development lifecycle, which involves designing, coding, configuring, testing, debugging, and documenting automated tests. Responsibilities include working within an Agile Software Delivery methodology with a strong focus on developing automated tests during each iteration, while identifying automated test coverage (including regression testing). Further, this Engineer will be developing and maintaining automated test scripts, integrating with automated build pipelines, and developing and maintaining system level and operation documentation. This Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for translating acceptance criteria into test cases, implementing automated tests using existing strategies, maintaining and enhancing automated test framework, assessing risks related to defects while determining their priority and severity, and conducting rigorous testing cycles for product releases. We are looking for team player who collaborates with other agile team members, ensuring that the implantations are testable, and begins developing tests while development is in progress. This Test Engineer will be involved in architecture, design, and deployment reviews related to quality assurance and test automation.

This is a hybrid role with 4 days on-site in Greenwood Village, Colorado and 1 day remote. This is a 6 month contract-to-hire role that can pay between $65-70/hour with medical benefits and 401k options offered on contract. If interested, please apply!
