Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Automated Test Engineer to support a large electric power client as a part of their Business Analysts and Software Development teams. This individual will be responsible for developing automated testing strategies and frameworks to meet functional and non-functional requirements of applications supporting the business needs of ISO. Day-to-day this person will create automated test scripts, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and execute them. They will use Selenium to generate and review test cases to ensure alignment with business requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to evaluate current testing practices to enhance the efficiency of testing efforts moving forward.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing and automated testing frameworks
• Strong experience using Selenium for generating automated test cases
• Hands-on knowledge of Git and JIRA software
• Experience programming in SQL and Python

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS)
• Familiarity working in cloud (preferably AWS) environments

Compensation:

$35/hr to $55/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
