Position: Senior Node Engineer

Location: Sunrise, FL

Onsite Requirement: 3 days per week

Compensation: $60-75/hour

**Must be able to work on W2 from day one

Desired Skillset

8 years' Computer Engineering experience

Expertise in Node.js and JavaScript

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar

Experience developing and deploying applications using cloud-native, serverless, and/or container-based technologies

Experience with CI/CD deployments using Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Day to Day Responsibilities

A client in the Financial Services Technology industry is seeking a Senior Node Engineer to join its CTO organization. Responsibilities include:

- Design, develop, and implement web applications using NodeJS

- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to produce clean, effective, and modern software solutions

- Build and maintain customer-facing web applications in a timely and efficient manner

- Lead the development of web architectures while keeping up with the latest technologies

- Optimize existing code and debug applications to identify and fix technical issues

- Participate in code reviews and ensure quality standards are met

- Develop technical documentation and support end-users in using the applications

- Monitor performance of web applications and provide solutions for improvement

- Develop and deploy applications using cloud-native, serverless, and/or container-based technologies
