Position Summary:

A growing hospital system in Midland, TX is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their team. This person will perform the essential duties and the primary functions of a Speech/Language Pathologist. Responsibilities include but are not limited to evaluating patients, developing goals and treatment plans, administering speech therapy treatments, documenting treatment, and communicating with physicians and other health care workers. They are also responsible for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments, solving practical problems, and dealing with a variety of instructions in written and oral form.

Day to day:

• Administer ST modalities, procedures, and protocols according to department guidelines
• Provide accurate, timely, and complete documentation
• Support and practice in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
• Assumes responsibility for his/her professional development

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology (SLP) program
• Texas certified SLP
• Comfortable working with Pediatric and Geriatric patients
• CCC-SLP certification through ASHA preferred
• FEES certification preferred

Compensation:

$40/hr - $46/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
