Must Haves:

• B.S. degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or other related field (or equivalent job experience)
• Four years’ experience in IT/Telecom environment utilizing a digital and/or IP voice technology solutions and various carrier voice circuit technologies.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of digital and IP phone systems, contact center solutions, and carrier circuits and phone lines.
• Solid knowledge of IP networking
• Demonstrate strong history of project management and technical assessment skills.

Day to day:

We’re seeking a Project Manager with expertise in SIP and voice firewalls for locations in Atlanta and Forsyth. Ideally, this individual can also integrate SIP into PBX systems. Their primary role will be to independently drive the project, facilitate meetings, and support all project needs. The PM should be adept at working with various stakeholders, including architecture, and design teams, as well as our internal network team. Expect a busy schedule with frequent meetings, planning, and facilitation. They will be responsible for leading multiple projects and providing telecom support/expertise. We need an individual who has a level of practical telecom PBX-knowledge that they can apply to high level problem-solving.

Additional responsibilities below:

• Provides telephone system, contact center, and carrier expertise in support of organization initiatives.
• Evaluates user needs and technical factors to architect and design telecommunications solutions.
• Tracks major telecom projects through comprehensive work planning and status reporting.
• Participates in user needs assessment and technical planning during facility or practice acquisitions, new construction, and renovation or upgrade projects to analyze telecommunications system and carrier requirements.
• Maintains working knowledge of current telecommunications hardware, software, and unified communications solutions along with carrier circuit technologies.
• Works collaboratively with Information Systems, Biomed, Patient Care, and other departments to support telecom integration with other solutions/ technologies as appropriate/needed.
• Develops outstanding relationships with all customers, Telecom staff, IS staff, and vendor and carrier personnel.
• Facilitates telecommunications involvement from other Network, Server, Microsystems, Applications, Physician Systems, Operations/Help Desk, and Biomed teams and transitions support accordingly after project implementation.
• Performs telecommunications system architecture and design functions for the organization.
• Serves as primary point-of-contact and expert for integration of all telecommunication systems with clinical application and mobile wireless voice devices.
• Assists in high-level strategic planning related to overall telecommunications infrastructure.
• Tracks and coordinates major projects for Telecommunications by developing & monitoring detailed project plans and regular status reports.
• Provides regular project status updates, ensures project deadlines are met, coordinates with all other parties, and escalates issues as needed to management.
• Helps resolve and escalate critical operational or enterprise-wide telecommunications issues.
• Considers overall network security and conducts telecommunications projects to enhance and demonstrate Northside’s compliance with standard procedures.
• Implements improved IT security processes and best practices as defined for all telecommunications projects and systems.
• Maintains telecommunications documentation and helps ensure compliance with HIPAA, PCI, and other IT security regulations for healthcare and related industries.
• Research new technologies and Telecom solutions that can help address gaps in service lines and enhance Telecommunications overall capabilities.
