Insight Global is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join the Scrum Team focused on enhancements and integrations for a Critical Manufacturing Application. The hourly pay for this role will range from $60-70/hr. The main responsibilities of this individual are listed below:
Job Description:
•Understanding the customer journey, how customers use existing tools, and what capabilities are most valuable in application scenarios,
•Mapping user paths through the application with wireframes and low-fidelity models, to foster understanding and collaboration with stakeholders,
•Creating polished UIs, accessibility guidelines, and branding elements,
•Producing design files and assets for implementation by the developers,
•Developing prototypes to model flows and interactions for validation prior to app coding,
•Conducting usability assessments of UI designs,
•Collaborating closely with team members to share insights and refine solutions,

Required Skills & Experience
-5 years of experience in User Experience design and User Interface creation for applications, including significant experience designing web-app UIs. (Candidate will be asked to share examples from their portfolio during interviews.),
-Proficiency in prototyping UI solutions, and collaborating with developers to transform designs into production applications,
-Demonstrable facility in defining customer journeys and designing related user workflows,
-Experience conducting end-user research and usability testing,
-Working knowledge of Accessibility design principles,
-Prior experience working within an Agile development methodology (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, etc.),
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree in design, interaction or a related UX degree; or commensurate industry experience,
-Experience designing multi-modal product experiences,
-Familiarity with Critical Manufacturing Domain,
Personal PC or Mac Available to use in the case equipment is delayed
