What to Expect

A client of Insight Global is seeking a workplace associate to join one of our largest automotive and clean energy client's in Fremont, CA. You will be working directly with 4 other associates and receiving tasks from the Workplace Supervisor. You will be the go-to person for all things workplace and fulfil any needs the company has. The responsibilities can range but are not limited to moving materials, finding lost mail, event set-up/breakdown, helping executives, moving and building furniture. This role is a combination of manual labor and office administration, being a strong communicator and a great team player with integrity is critical.

What You’ll Do

• Complete daily tickets of equipment and logistics based needs
• Modification of existing or building of furniture or needed equipment
• Office and or Space Moves of IT and non-IT equipment to new facilities
• Communicate with internal leaders on any moving or logistics based needs
• Unloading/Loading of trucks and transportation with equipment
• Additional ad-hoc tasks

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Ability to walk on your feet for a minimum of 6 hours a day
• Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Project)
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when required
