Job DescriptionAs an Administrative and Editorial Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our team and maintaining the highest standards of written content produced by our organization. In this multifaceted position, you will provide essential administrative support, assist client teams, and perform meticulous proofreading and editing tasks. This role is an entry role to become a client success manager within our organization. Administrative Support:
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, materials, and minutes
Manage help desk tickets efficiently
Enter requests and notes into our task management system
Coordinate travel arrangements, scheduling, and accommodations for staff members
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other critical documents
Conduct thorough research and compile data to support organizational needs
Provide comprehensive administrative support to team members
Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
Editorial Excellence:
Meticulously review and edit written content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and style
Maintain consistency in language, tone, style, and formatting across all materials for clients
Verify factual accuracy and ensure adherence to brand guidelines, editorial standards, and industry best practices
Collaborate with the team and leadership to clarify meaning, improve clarity, and refine messaging
Offer constructive feedback and suggestions to writers to elevate the quality and impact of their content
Maintain and update editorial style guides, dictionaries, and reference materials
Proofread and approve final drafts of content before publication or distribution
Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality
Contribute to website quality assurance by reviewing content, testing functionality, and ensuring brand consistency
Stay current with evolving language usage, style conventions, and publishing technologies
Assist in developing and implementing editorial processes, workflows, and quality assurance measures
Actively participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional collaborations
Support content planning, scheduling, and editorial calendar management
Schedule social media content across various platforms to bolster marketing initiatives
Conduct keyword research to assist in the development of annual content calendars
