MyHR Help Specialist

We are currently seeking a MyHR Help Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for serving as a primary point of contact for all Insperity employees, leaders, and alumni. This position is responsible for processing and responding to corporate employee inquiries and providing knowledge about company policies and/or procedures including payroll and benefits/leaves of absence. Ensures all employee interactions are conducted in a professional and confidential manner while striving to provide superior employee experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to requests/inquiries from customers and executes key tasks and activities in accordance with defined procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensures delivery of business results by meeting or exceeding all service level agreements and delivering high quality services that meet or exceed corporate employee expectations.
  • Escalates complex or HR Counterpart specific cases to internal resources (e.g., Senior Corporate HR Representatives, Subject Matter Experts (SME)’s, Centers of Excellence (COE)’s, Employee Relations Advisors (ERA)’s, HR Business Partners (HRBP)’s, Worksite Operations) for further research and resolution.
  • Receives inbound inquiries via multiple channels (e.g., phone, email, case management, chat, etc.), clarifies the request and assists in the resolution.
  • Documents all cases in the case management application.
  • Partners with HR Counterparts (e.g., Health & Welfare, Corporate Payroll, HR Compliance) to ensure all escalated issues are resolved and service levels met.
  • Takes ownership of all assigned tasks, initiatives, and inquiries and ensures that they are resolved/completed efficiently and with a superior level of quality.
  • Assists and encourages employees to make effective use of self-service options, empowering them to solve inquiries.
  • Processes employee changes in the Workday HR system.
  • Ensures compliance with CHR policies and procedures.
  • Works to continuously improve and be adaptable to changes as they occur.
  • Contributes positively to a knowledge sharing environment by documenting and sharing all relevant experiences.
  • Brings forth and identifies potential areas of improvement where there may be a gap in a defined policy or process.
  • Responds to internal and external information/records requests in partnership with Legal department.
  • Aspires to and practices the Corporate HR department mission to engage strategically with leaders and employees to serve the company culture, grow the business, and make a difference in our communities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Two to four years of experience in a related role (HR, Benefits, Payroll) is required.
  • PHR is preferred.
  • Considerable ability to handle a variety of sensitive information and human resources matters.
  • Demonstrated skills in communicating effectively, using tact and discretion and in developing interpersonal relationships and handling conflicts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of HR policies and practices including FMLA/LOA and Unemployment.
  • Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, and familiarity with Workday for case management/knowledge management preferred.
  • Travels up to 5% of time
