Job Description MAJOR FUNCTION : Documents into billing system all bills generate for outpatient treatment programs. Responsible for billing and insurance verifications in the outpatient behavioral health department. Works in conjunction with the therapist and prescribers to provide accurate insurance information and service coverage. Works within the state standards and grant guidelines to provide appropriate billing for services. QUALIFICATION : Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
College Degree or Certification Preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of Insurance and billing experience required.
Experience in Behavioral Health billing required.
Certification/Licensure:
N/A
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong organizational skills and time management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
