Job Description
The Practice Coordinator position will report to the Inspira LIFE Nurse Manager. The Practice Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of clinical (assist with routine wound treatments, vital signs, prepare exam rooms and other tasks as per RN Clinical Mgr.) and administrative duties. The Practice Coordinator promotes collaboration, organization, and efficiency to achieve effective operation of the health Center (clinic) on site at the PACE Center and be a resource to the clinical staff. The Practice Coordinator will maintain Super User status on the Electronic Medical Record system, and Excel efficient. The job duties include but are not limited to leading daily huddles (schedule review, and identification of any barriers to the clinic schedule running on-time), pre-visit planning (data abstraction, and collection of any missing results), coordination with managers and or supervisors on staff clinical competency evaluation and training, and monitoring of a variety of quality dashboards, documentation and metrics. Assumes oversight of lab manifest with responsibility for assuring reconciliation. Ensure effective communication with Schedulers regarding clinic and other appointments, audit consult recommendations from specialists, and timely communication with PCPs/ RNs regarding any participant status changes.
As a multisite provider of PACE community-based services for seniors in Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties, an Inspira LIFE employee may work at either or both the Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program as census changes or operational needs occur to meet the needs of our participants.
