Full-Time Physical Therapist
About Inspira Physical Therapy & Pilates
Inspira Physical Therapy and Pilates, located at 275 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a highly qualified full-time Physical Therapist to enhance our multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
-Treat full caseload of patients for pelvic floor PT and complex orthopedic care.
-Mentorship will be provided weekly in the first 6 months of employment and then on a biweekly basis after.
-All appointments are 1:1
-Team learning meetings will be held monthly.
-Participate in meetings for EDS/HSD protocol
- Conduct thorough evaluations and re-evaluations of patients, identifying areas of restricted motion and formulating comprehensive treatment plans.
- Design and implement customized physical therapy sessions to restore function, alleviate pain, prevent disability post-injury or illness, and promote overall wellness.
- Emphasize compassionate care through 1-hour long one-on-one sessions, focusing on holistic approaches, including Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Pilates Rehabilitation, Advanced Orthopedic, Neurological, Dance Physical Therapy, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, Prenatal and postnatal, and Abdominal Care.
Job Description:
The Physical Therapist role involves a blend of clinical hours and initial administrative management until a full caseload is established.
- Schedule: Wednesday/Friday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Tuesday/Thursday: 12 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Start Date: May 15, 2024
- Benefits: Paid time off, Health Insurance Stipend
- Pay: 90k based on experience

Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Experience: 2-3 years of full-time work experience required
- Continued Education Experience Preferred (At least 1 of the following):
- Pelvic Floor Herman & Wallace 1 and 2
- Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy Training
- Pilates Rehabilitation
- Visceral/Craniosacral Training
- License/Certification:
- NY State Physical Therapy License (required)
- CPR Certification (required)
- US work authorization (required)
