Develop, maintain, or implement business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures. Plan, conduct, and debrief regular mock-disaster exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly. Act as a coordinator for continuity efforts after a disruption event.

• Develop disaster recovery plans for physical locations with critical assets such as data centers.
• Develop contingency plans to deal with organizational emergencies.
• Test documented disaster recovery strategies and plans and assess risk to business operations.
• Analyze the impact on and risk to essential business functions or information systems to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements.
• Develop contingency plans to deal with organizational emergencies.
• Review existing disaster recovery, crisis management, or business continuity plans.
• Establish, maintain, or test call trees to ensure appropriate communication during a disaster.
• Write reports summarizing testing activities, including goals, planning, scheduling, execution, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Conduct or oversee the collection of corporate intelligence to avoid fraud, financial crime, cyber-attack, terrorism, and infrastructure failure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree and seven (7) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification OR
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field and five (5) years of experience in security systems technologies OR
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field and three (3) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification OR
• Master’s degree in information systems or related field and three (3) years of experience in security systems technologies OR
• Master’s degree in information systems or related field and two (2) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification
