Inspire Security Solutions is Hiring a Sr. Data Protection Analyst Near Phoenix, AZ

The Sr. Data Protection Analyst will advise our staff on day-to-day activities involving compliant use of personal data and technologies that involve processing personal data. You will support the management of data processing registers and the data protection accountability framework. You will be able to help with data protection education and awareness campaigns, including publishing frequent company-wide data protection communications and delivering training events and initiatives tailored to colleagues from across all business areas.

  • Utilize business knowledge and technical skills to monitor, detect, identify, analyze, evaluate, report, and assist in response to data privacy and protection-related security events.
  • This role will work closely with all IT areas, business units, strategic partners, and vendors to implement proper privacy and protection controls to reduce risk.
  • This role requires expertise in problem-solving and a solid understanding of common security controls and data privacy.
  • This position will constantly monitor developments in data privacy and protection areas and data security technologies, as well as global changes in data privacy laws, general information security best practices, and new technologies.
  • Assistance with internal monitoring, alerting, incident management, and other ‘business as usual’ privacy & protection tasks
  • Operation of Data Security IT controls (for example, Purview, DLP, AIP, MIP)
  • Help create a “single pane of glass” to oversee data usage within the firm.
  • Production of comprehensive documentation and reporting
  • Assist with data incidents to minimize business impact.
  • Maintain a sufficient level of knowledge of the prevalent technical and privacy risks to Barings to assist in the prioritization of response plans and mitigating controls.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree and seven (7) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field and five (5) years of experience in security systems technologies OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field and three (3) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification OR
  • Master’s degree in information systems or related field and three (3) years of experience in security systems technologies OR
  • Master’s degree in information systems or related field and two (2) years of experience in security systems technologies and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), or CEH Certification or related security certification
