Job Title: Design and Sales Consultant

Reports to: General Manager/Sales Manager

Summary:Inspired Closets Tacoma is currently seeking a self-motivated Design and Sales Consultant who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate would possess prior sales experience, have a talent for design as well as creative thinking. As a Design Consultant, you will engage in in-home direct sales consultations, as well as present to builders, interior designers, and architects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your design expertise and deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire customer journey.

Qualifications:

• Retail sales experience is a plus
• Attention to detail and spacial awareness are key
• Interior design education and direct industry experience is a plus but not required
• Advanced knowledge of working with basic computer software programs is required

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet clients in person for design consultations in clients home and showroom
• A team player with strong project management skills capable of overseeing a portfolio of varying complexity projects in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client locations as needed
• Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and sales goals
• Develop and present design proposals that meet client requirements and budget
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our services and offerings
• Pursue referrals and repeat business
• Attendance at monthly sales meetings required

Additional Considerations:

• Flexible work schedule
• No cap commission
• Training salary provided. Transition to full commission upon completion of training
• Leads provided by the company with additional incentives for self-generated business
• Generous compensation package. Medical/Dental/Vision after 60 days, 401k after 90 days

Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability
