INSPYR Solutions is Hiring a Business Process Excellence - Project Portfolio Manager Near King of Prussia, PA

Title: Business Process Excellence - Project Portfolio Manager
Duration: 6 Months (possibly extended)
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $45-$50 hr ($55 c2c)
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
  • Broadcom Clarity experience is required. This experience must include design and development.**
Job Description
    • Manages global portfolio initiatives and service offerings in support of an optimal and collaborative PPM culture across the organization
    • Increases company's ability to deliver intended value in support of strategic and operational priorities by improved identification of value at the outset, enhanced prioritization capabilities and benefit management approaches through the project life-cycle.
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in demand, benefits, project, resource and portfolio management.
    • Key contributor to enhance capabilities across the business through the development and delivery of templates, knowledge management approaches, establishment and maintenance of governance forums etc.
    • Supports the development and implementation of standards, methodologies and processes to help achieve cross-functional business objectives.
    • Collaborates with other business units, builds engagement, manages relationships, and solicits feedback to support continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Primary
    • Support standardization and increase capabilities for project, program and portfolio management. Contribute to continuous improvement by assessing results, improving processes, and managing portfolio tool enhancement requirements. Design, develop, procure, promote, and facilitate leading practice documentation, training, and rollout of required policies, procedures and tools/templates to ensure project portfolio governance standards are applied consistently in a compliant manner across the company.
    • Designs, develops, procures, promotes, and facilitates leading practice documentation and rollout of required policies, procedures and tools / templates (including business case / funding requests) to ensure governance standards are applied consistently in a compliant manner across the company.
    • Provides knowledge management services including support for the development and maintenance of the Project Knowledge Center, and templates and tools in line with our operating principles.
    • Engage, support and influence portfolios across the business move to a leading practice governance model. Act as an advisor / coach on key portfolio governance bodies to help build capabilities and ensure effective decision making maximizing business outcomes.
    • Supports the definition and implementation of a portfolio management people and operating model including career development, capability and skills development. Acts as a mentor / coach on portfolio management.
    • Collaborates with other Enterprise Excellence functions to drive leading practice in the area of PPM. Takes a leadership role for the advocacy and advancement of the organization project culture, process culture and the Enterprise Excellence organization.
Secondary
    • Serves as a subject matter expert for Portfolio Management (including benefits and demand mgmt.) methodologies and practices and promotes a cohesive, collaborative global project culture. Acts as the focal point on portfolio resource mgmt. as an interface to the Resource Mgmt team.
    • Act as a key SME in benefits management and help develop the benefits COE. Provide benefits management support to key projects and programs. Support in quantification and demonstration of alignment to strategic and operational priorities.
