Location: New Berlin, WI
Duration: Direct Hire/Full Time
Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Job SummaryThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, testing, and launch of the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems.
Duties:
- Lead electronic controls development for industrial process cooling, heating, fluid and material handling equipment
- Investigate and implement the latest technologies for electrical and controls system
- Develop standards for drawings and documentation
- Develop and implement testing plans as required
- Provide technical support for Sales, Manufacturing, and Service departments
- Other duties as assigned
- BS Electrical Engineering degree and 2-5 years of experience
- Incumbent should have experience assisting with and/or leading electrical engineering projects in a team environment
- Solid background in control of industrial processes
- Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical
- Proficient with PLC and data acquisition hardware and software
- Proficient with communication protocols including Ethernet and Modbus
- Proficient with UL/CSA/ESA/CE standards
- Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must display ownership of project(s), including the willingness to work hands-on with assemblers in plant
