Location: Seattle, WA (onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract
Compensation: $50-65/hr.

Summary: This Fortune 50 Tech company is seeking a UX Researcher III to join their team. This position is a unique opportunity to partner with a diverse set of stakeholders in ideating, building, and launching brand-new products. Research is paramount to this organization’s success - formative research is needed to identify the right underserved needs or problems in the world to tackle with product solutions, iterative design research is needed to mold early product ideas into testable prototypes, and evaluative research is needed to improve and tune those products for market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define, and deliver meaningful products into the world.
- Collaboratively develop and execute research roadmaps.
- Lead various research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle.
- Contribute to product strategy and execution.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis to inform product and design decisions
- Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audience
- Experience with autonomy and decision making to balance demands
- 5 years proven experience in executing rolling research projects.
- Familiarity with dog fooding and fish fooding methodologies.
- Strong background in lab-based research, emphasizing data and metrics collection and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and communicate findings effectively to drive product development.
- BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
