What to Expect in this Role
ResponsibilitiesAs a construction laborer at InsulVail, your primary focus will be on installing insulation such as fiberglass or rock wool batts on exterior walls and ceilings. While your work environment may vary daily, the installation process will provide a level of consistency. Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and organizing materials onto a truck
• Setting up scaffolding or ladders to the required height
• Cutting insulation materials to size and fitting them into frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
• Installing insulation using various methods such as stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or utilizing specialized equipment for loose-fill or foamed insulation
• Potential need to operate a company vehicle, requiring compliance with driving regulations and DOT standards and maintaining tools and truck
• Adhering to job site safety protocols and being familiar with the location of MSDS packets in your vehicle

Keys to Success in This Role
To Succeed In This Position, You Must

• Hold a valid driver's license
• Utilize common hand tools
• Be comfortable working in confined spaces like attics and crawlspaces
• Have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Be capable of climbing ladders and scaffolding
• Demonstrate flexibility to bend, twist, and move your body at various points
• Stand for extended periods
