Installed Building Products is Hiring an Insulator Near Bunnell, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction-related tasks and possess a strong understanding of insulation techniques.

Duties:
Job ListingBatt/Blow InstallerAs a Batt and Blow installer, you will be responsible for installing insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings to improve energy efficiency, temperature control, and soundproofing. Responsibilities: Measure and cut insulation materials (such as fiberglass batts or blown-in cellulose) to the required dimensions.Load and transport insulation materials to the job site. Install insulation in wall cavities, attics, basements, and crawl spaces, following established guidelines and building codes. Use tools and equipment (e.g., insulation blowers, staple guns) to secure insulation in place. Ensure proper sealing and coverage to prevent gaps and air leaks. Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and exposure to hazardous materials.Follow industry standards and guidelines for safe insulation installation. Inspect completed insulation work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.Address any deficiencies or issues promptly. Maintain records of materials used and work performed.Complete required paperwork, including job reports and inspection forms. Communicate with customers to explain the insulation installation process and address any questions or concerns. Preferred Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Experience in insulation installation or a related construction field is preferred. Knowledge of insulation materials, tools, and techniques.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy insulation materials.Valid driver's licensePhysical demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
