Instant Signs is a regional Sign fabrication and Installation company that was established in 1994. Founded in Lexington, KY. Instant Signs continues to steadily grow through the relationships we have built with our customers. Instant signs is a full-service sign company specializing in exterior, construction grade lit and non-lit signage as well as interior ADA and wayfinding signage packages. With our in-house design team, project management team and installation crews, we can handle any job from one offs, to chain store changeovers. Some of our more notable recent projects include, the University of Kentucky Kroger Field Change over, Shriner’s Hospital, multiple 21c locations throughout the US, The Valvoline Corporate Headquarters, and many more. We also work very well with other Sign companies needing installation within our region. Summary: While some of our Installers travel away from home 3-8 nights a month, most of the time our installation jobs allow our installers to be home at every day. Our installers perform new construction site work from surveys to foundation work to changing out used bulbs and ballasts at ground level to heights of 150’ or more. While safety is our number one objective, this job is not for everyone. Our Installers must effectively manage their time, while foreseeing future problems and the ability to provide solutions, not complications. All this, while multitasking to meet or exceed our customers expectations. Our installers must have the ability to use many types of power tools as well as light grade construction equipment or have the desire to be trained. Duties and Expectations: Sign installation from ground level to 150’ in height with heavy lifting or crane set Digging footers with equipment or by hand and pouring cement footers/foundations Electrical trouble shooting interior or exterior to signs, cleaning, painting, bulb or driver replacement. Safely Load and secure trailers with forklift or manually light welding work onsite Computer skills to check in and out of jobs and uploading communications And many other related primary and secondary duties. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Hold or ability to obtain a CDL Driver License. Ability to work out of town and stay overnight. Welding, crane, construction equipment and forklift experience desired.
