Job Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

Location: Kissimmee, FL 34744

Pay Rate: $45/hr. on 1099 all-inclusive without benefits

Work Hours: Monday - Wednesday 8 am - 5 pm (24 hr/wk)

Short Description: 

FL-DOH-Osceola County-Family Planning/Refugee Health/STD/HIV Primary Care-APRN - Advanced and specialized clinical medical work, focus on Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), Refugees Health, Family Planning, and Women’s Health. (PT 24 hr/wk)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

• State of Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license and BLS certification

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in all screening and immunization campaigns as deemed necessary by the Nursing and Medical Directors and provide immunizations
• Initiate appropriate therapies consistent with the diagnosis.
• Utilize expertise to educate the patients, their families, staff, and community.
• Collect, interpret, and record health data from patients presenting in the STIs, Family Planning, Women’s Health, and Refugees Health Clinics, including breast and pelvic exams, 
• Placement and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs), and provision of all forms of contraception methods within the boundaries of the State of Florida mandates.
• Perform annual physical exams for uninsured patients and comprehensive physical evaluations of refugees.
• Identifies and evaluates medical conditions and illnesses. 
• Initiates diagnostic laboratory tests and evaluates all results in a timely manner. 
• Advanced knowledge of nursing practice, and familiarity with Title X guidelines.
