The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery or other medical procedures. The RN is responsible for assessing patients' post-anesthesia status, managing pain and complications, and ensuring a smooth transition from the PACU to other care areas. This role requires expertise in monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and providing post-operative care. Variable shifts and weekend rotations are required.
