**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at the Institute of Metabolism, Endocrine and Diabetes. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing quality care to patients in a clinic setting.

Open to considering nursing, PA or medical students.

Looking for in-person. Suggested hours are Monday 9am-4pm, tues 9am-5pm, wed 9am-5pm. Hours are flexible.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs and assisting with patient examinations.

- Handle patient service tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records.

- Help with prior authorizations and patient call backs.

- Utilize medical terminology and apply physiology knowledge to support healthcare providers.

- Provide basic life support and respond to emergency situations promptly.

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of patient care procedures.

- Ability to take accurate vital signs and assist in patient care activities.

- Experience working in a clinic or healthcare setting is preferred.

- Knowledge of basic life support techniques.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
