Job DescriptionLife Insurance Sales Director - Elkhorn, NEThe Insurance Marketing (IMO) Industry is exploding right now especially with year-end numbers being so high, and we have great need for great people to join us and take it to the next level.   • Competitive base salary based on experience and skills.
  • Company year-end bonus if Company goals are achieved.
  • BCBS Medical health insurance after 90 days of employment. IAMS pays for 100% of the individual employee premium.
  • Monthly Company paid HSA contributions of $200 after 90 days of employment.
  • 401K retirement plan after 12 months of employment - employer match up to 4%

  • PTO day during birthday month
  • Time Made Up (4 hrs. per month)
  • PTO - (0-3 years) = 15 days per year; accrued at 1.25 days per month (4 years) = 20 days per year; accrued at 1.67 days per month

  • Holiday cash (Thanksgiving & Christmas)
  • Employee referral bonus - if referred hire is employed for 90 days ($250 bonus) 180 days ($500 bonus)

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Work with licensed agents/producers across the country to determine appropriate product strategy recommendations for their clients.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective clients.
  • Utilize software platforms to provide illustrations and product recommendations.
  • Educate agents/producers on the products and marketing programs that IAMS offers (new agent cash bonuses, incentive trips, agent referral program, agent retirement program, sales training & tools, etc.)
  • Recruit licensed life insurance agents/producers to promote IAMS end-to-end service & support, and promote our carriers and their offerings to help the agents grow their business.
  • Provide administration, back-office support, marketing and case design; be a dedicated resource for our insurance agents/producers to help them grow their business.
  • Maintain agent records (number of agents recruited, written business, number of sales kits sent, agent referrals), provide input for weekly sales meeting.
Qualifications And Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Life insurance experience; as an agent/producer, or working with agents/producers, experience with an IMO or working with an IMO definitely preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of various insurance products & policies preferred.
  • 3 years solid sales, client service & customer acquisition experience preferred.
  • Must be professional, highly motivated/driven and outgoing.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and to prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a “follow-up until resolved” mindset.
  • Must be detail oriented with accuracy.
  • Must escalate appropriate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Because all communication, correspondence and client relationships are nation-wide, this position is heavily phone driven.
  • Punctuality & attendance is critical to this position as your department / team members and customers depend on you.
  • This position is M-F in the office from 7:45am - 5:00pm.

This position is a base salary bonusSalary: $60,000 per year
