Our agency of almost 90 years and our dynamic team seeks an enthusiastic individual to provide exceptional customer service to our insurance company clients and policyholders. You’ll be responsible for creating insurance policies, advising potential clients on coverage, and converting quotes into new policies. You'll also help resolve billing issues, change policies, and make policy recommendations. $18.50 - $21 hourly

• Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies
• Respond to incoming calls concerning policy and insurance coverage concerns, as well as customer complaints and general questions
• Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
• Remain up to date on new marketing initiatives to accurately address insurance-related questions using all available tools
• Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given

• If not licensed in P&C, it would be a goal for you to get licensed in the first few months of employment

• Basic knowledge of insurance policy procedures and schedules is preferred
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
• Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required

We are a team of people helping people. Our independent insurance business is based on the relationships we build within our Team, our clients, potential clients, our community, and the companies we work with. As an independent insurance agency, we work for our clients, not one insurance company.

Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:30. You will be asked to attend early morning, evening, and an occasional Saturday meeting for either networking or to support local and community events.
