About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our clients’ team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in managing and comparing data, and have experience in documentation and audit control processes. This role involves significant interaction with various teams and third-party partners, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data across multiple platforms and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and audit control processes to ensure all data handling adheres to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and document approval procedures and processes, conduct capability data analysis to support decision-making, and ensure all approvals are properly recorded and tracked.
• Collaborate with Midland teams to maintain schedules, generate regular reports, and conduct ongoing analysis of data from various tests to identify trends and insights.
• Validate and compare third-party solution data against internal application data, ensuring consistency and accuracy, and follow up with relevant division teams to address discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Microsoft Excel and other relevant applications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and external partners.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with data validation and comparison processes.
• A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
