Intangible Assets is Hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician Near Conover, NC

Position SummaryResponsible for installing, repairing wiring for manufacturing equipment as well as provide preventative maintenance associated with electrical issues.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment in regards to manufacturing.
  • Remain in compliance with current National Electrical Code.
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears.
  • Complete work orders and record material utilized on job.
  • Run conduit, pull wires/cables and wire termination.
  • Run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs and test for adequate operation.
  • Utilize blue prints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.
  • Understand and troubleshoot PLC.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance as assigned.

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent

  • Mechanical mindset
  • 5 years' experience in similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise reports that are understandable by the target audience
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate them when appropriate
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints to draft clear and detailed manufacturing procedures
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
  • Time management skills
  • Strong computer skills that include proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Dropbox
Language Skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish preferred
