Intangible Assets is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Madison, WI

Oversees new business development within the market for these 2-3 new salespeople
plus 2 more seasoned account managers. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales
revenues through the deployment of these sales personnel. Identifies objectives,
strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
Core Functions Collaborates with Managing Director in hiring new business developers for the
market.
 Establishes and recommends a realistic sales goal for their team.
 Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise
and train sales personnel.
Details Of Function Performs sales activities for their team and negotiates sales price and discounts
in consultation with Managing Director.
 Manages personnel and develops account managers on their team.
 Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams for their team.
 Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth within their team.
 Provides quarterly results assessments of their team’s productivity and shares with
Managing Director.
 Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results
for their team.
 Formulates all sales policies, practices, and procedures for their team.
 Works alongside their team in establishing personal contact and rapport with top
echelon decision-makers.
 Collaborates with Managing Director to develop sales strategies to improve market
share in all product lines and vertical markets.
 Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies for their team and discuss
them openly with Managing Director.
 Educates their sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new
account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales,
profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use
and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues
on contracts.
 Collaborates with Managing Director to establish and control budgets for sales
promotion and trade show expenses.
 Reviews expenses and recommends economies.
 Holds regular meetings with their team.
Reporting Reports directly to Managing Director.
QualificationsA university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or a minimum of seven
years of related experience or training in the furniture industry; or the equivalent
combination of formal education and experience. Problem-solving and analytical skills to
interpret sales performance and market trend information. Proven ability to motivate and
lead the sales team. Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies. Excellent
oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Suite is required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance at all times

Salary:80k-100k plus commission
