Integra is currently seeking a dedicated Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves assisting with various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our apartment communities.

- Maintenance Assistance: Assist the maintenance team with repairs and preventive maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
- Work Order Completion: Assist in completing work orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring resident satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
- Unit Preparation: Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
- Safety Inspections: Participate in regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and code violations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Emergency Response: Be available to respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular working hours as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and fair housing laws in all maintenance activities.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, property management, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and address resident concerns.
- Training and Development: Participate in training programs and opportunities for skill development to enhance technical proficiency and job performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and completing tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety in all maintenance activities.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for some positions.
- Must have own basic hand tools to perform daily duties.
