Position Overview:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the safe and cost-effective use of the facility equipment and labor within control of this position. Ensure all staff are compliance with Inland's policy of superior service and satisfaction while maintaining compliance with all written company and Government rules and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
* Manage all aspects of the daily operations as well as provide leadership and coaching to increase overall safety, performance, maintenance, flight operations, facility requirements and customer service for the assigned deicing location;
* Assist the General Manager and/or Operations Manager with station audits;
* Provide information needed for airline deicing reports, and handle all airline and FAA questions/concerns as required;
* Take proper measures to be sure that aircrafts are deiced properly and airline manual requirements are met;
* Communicate regularly on airline manual updates to provide information to employees and coordinate with the General Manager and/or Operations Manager on investigations of any security issues and accident reviews;
Required Skills and Experience:
* Must possess 5 years of Airport/Airline or similar industry operational experience with a background in safety and regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations;
* College Degree or combination of higher learning or related professional experience;
* Successful completion of all IDS classroom and OJT de/anti-icing training;
* Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
* A valid driver's license is required for this position.
Work Environment:
* Office environment with the potential of remaining seated for extended periods of time;
* Continuous use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse;
* Warehouse - physically strenuous, prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to noise (may be excessive at times), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment;
* Outdoor - prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles;
* May be exposed to hazards inherent in airport operations, including noise, vehicles, equipment, and weather, all of which are well-managed with a high level of training, personal protective equipment, and safety procedures.
Physical Demands:
* Must be able to lift, push pull up to 55 pounds at times, but not in excess of 75 pounds;

* Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus;
